Experience
· 8–12+ years overall data platform experience
· 5+ years administering Snowflake in enterprise environments

Job Summary
· We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Snowflake Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure our cloud data platform supporting critical financial and banking workloads.
· The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake administration and proven experience operating data platforms in regulated financial environments.
· Exposure to Databricks administration is considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Snowflake Administration (Core)
· Administer and manage Snowflake environments (Production, UAT, QA, Dev) in large-scale enterprise settings
· Configure and manage warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, users, and resource monitors
· Monitor and optimize performance, concurrency, and cost usage across Snowflake workloads
· Implement and maintain data security controls, including RBAC, row-level security, column masking, and secure views
· Manage data sharing, cloning, time travel, and fail-safe strategies
· Perform capacity planning, usage forecasting, and cost optimization aligned with business needs
· Troubleshoot performance issues, query bottlenecks, and system anomalies
Financial Services & Compliance
· Support data platforms handling banking, financial reporting, risk, fraud, and regulatory workloads
· Ensure adherence to financial regulations such as SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and internal audit controls
· Partner with security and compliance teams on audits, access reviews, and data governance initiatives
· Maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity standards
Automation & Operations
· Automate administrative tasks using SQL, Python, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines
· Implement monitoring and alerting for platform health and performance
· Support release management, environment migrations, and platform upgrades
· Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and best practices
Collaboration & Leadership
· Act as a technical advisor for Snowflake best practices
· Mentor junior administrators and platform engineers
· Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders
· Participate in architectural reviews and platform roadmap planning
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake administration experience
· Proven experience supporting financial or banking data platforms
· Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts
· Experience with cloud platforms (Azure)
· Solid understanding of security, IAM, encryption, and compliance controls
Good-to-Have Qualifications
· Experience with Databricks administration (workspaces, clusters, jobs, access controls)
· Familiarity with Databricks–Snowflake integrations
· Snowflake or Databricks certifications
· Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
· Exposure to data governance, metadata, and lineage tools
