Job Description: Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud Assessment Lead (Contract)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Transformation Consultant to lead a strategic Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Fusion Cloud assessment engagement. The consultant will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to evaluate the current ERP landscape, assess cloud readiness, and define a pragmatic roadmap for transitioning to Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
This role requires deep functional expertise across Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, and Inventory, along with the ability to translate complex ERP environments into clear transformation insights and executive-level recommendations.
The ideal candidate brings strong consulting, stakeholder engagement, and presentation capabilities and has experience supporting ERP modernization or cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead ERP discovery and assessment workshops with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders.
• Evaluate the current Oracle EBS environment, including business processes, configurations, customizations, integrations, and reporting.
• Perform functional and technical fit analysis comparing Oracle EBS capabilities with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM applications.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, standardization potential, and transformation benefits enabled by Oracle Fusion.
• Assess customization footprint, integration complexity, and data considerations impacting the cloud transition.
• Evaluate opportunities to leverage Oracle Fusion AI capabilities, intelligent automation, and embedded analytics.
• Develop a future-state vision and high-level ERP transformation roadmap.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations and advisory insights to support leadership decision-making.
• Provide recommendations on migration strategy, risks, and implementation considerations.

Required Experience
• 8–12+ years of Oracle ERP experience, with deep expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Strong functional expertise in:
o Order Management
o Advanced Pricing
o Shipping Execution
o Inventory
• Good understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM capabilities and architecture.
• Proven experience conducting ERP assessments, discovery engagements, or transformation advisory projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skills.
• Excellent executive presentation and consulting advisory skills.
