About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will oversee key accounting functions, ensure the accuracy of financial records, support financial reporting and month-end close activities, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and provide financial analysis to support business decisions. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation, accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and other complex accounting activities.
• Ensure proper revenue recognition and expense allocation in accordance with accounting standards.
• Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury transactions for accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
• Assist in developing and improving internal controls and accounting processes.
• Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop financial models and prepare ad hoc reports for management.
• Participate in ERP system implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and provide guidance to accounting staff while serving as a technical resource on accounting best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate, public accounting, or multi-entity environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Experience with financial modeling and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations or system enhancements.
• Leadership or mentoring experience within an accounting team.
