Technical Program Manager

Role Overview

An Advanced Hardware Engineering (AHE) team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead AHE Operations, including quarterly planning, budgeting, and various operational improvement initiatives. The role involves leading the definition, development, and rollout of AI automation tools to enhance productivity for TPMs and Engineering. The position requires cross-functional collaboration with teams across hardware, firmware, software, vehicle engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to deliver AHE systems end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead AHE Operations, including the quarterly planning process, budgeting, and other operational improvement initiatives such as developing systematic approaches to JIRA planning and issue management frameworks.
  • Lead the definition, development, and rollout of AI automation tools to elevate productivity via agentic integration across JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Google Suite, and other IT tools.
  • Own the team's JIRA hygiene and issue-resolution targets, supporting the team in resolving critical issues and cross-team requests.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline firmware configuration for all projects across different target configuration phases.
  • Collaborate by inviting diverse perspectives to ensure all voices are heard and valued in decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain standard reports and one-pagers to communicate program status, risks, issues, and achievements to key stakeholders and leadership.
Required Qualifications

Education: BS/MS degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent job experience.

Experience: At least 6 years of experience in Technical Program Management with a strong track record of leading and delivering complex cross-functional programs across hardware and/or software.

Technical Skills: Hands-on familiarity with end-to-end product development processes with proficiency in tools required to manage complex programs (i.e., Gantt charts, risk tracking and reporting, Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.). Proven understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI tools. Proficiency in agentic coding workflows using Integrated Development Environments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience with building AI-based solutions in the SMB/Enterprise spaces to automate workflows across JIRA, Confluence, Google Suite, Slack, and other productivity tools.
  • Previous product development Operations Program Management experience spanning areas such as budgeting, organization-wide planning cycles, risk management, reporting (JIRA, dashboards), and process development.
