GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:The Logistics Support Analysis Manager is accountable for all aspects of the US Marine Corps (USMC) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) program. The Logistics Support Analysis Manager interfaces with Program Management and key customers in order to define requirements for a Logistics Support program, perform required Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) tasks, implement the resulting Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program and oversee its operation.).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Work with customers and KUAS Program/Engineering team members to define a holistic ILS program.
- Define required LSA tasks to establish an effective ILS program.
- Document required tasks/establish requirements for the ILS program.
- Conduct required analyses and document results in reports/CDRLs. Examples include:
- Maintenance Planning & Analysis - Defining repair levels (LORA), developing maintenance tasks, establishing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) schedules to ensure system availability.
- Design Influence & Engineering - Utilizing Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to improve system reliability, testability, and maintainability during design.
- Resource Identification - Determining requirements for spares (provisioning), specialized tools, support equipment, and facility requirements.
- Technical Documentation & Training - Developing technical manuals, maintenance manuals, and training programs for personnel.
- Life Cycle Costing - Analyzing cost drivers and evaluating support alternatives to reduce total ownership costs.
- Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR) - Documenting all analysis results in a structured database (e.g., MIL-STD-1388-1A) to provide a single source of support data.
- Implement resulting ILS program in concert with customer-selected Logistics strategy
- Define separation of responsibilities for ILS activities between contractor and customer, including initial stand-up and permanent phasing.
- Acquire necessary facilities, equipment and personnel.
- Establish processes and procedures as required.
- Perform required training.
- Oversee resulting ILS program:
- Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements.
- Prepare and deliver required reporting and documentation.
- Implement any required improvements based on initial results.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:- Will be required to supervise subordinate logistics program managers, specialists and contractors as program matures.

- Must be effective at alliance building and creating a positive team spirit, both within his/her department and the rest of the company.

- Experience/knowledge/understanding of the ILS planning elements.
- Demonstrated experience with the principles of US Government Property Management practices and standards.
- Demonstrated abilities to plan and prioritize work assignments in a matrix environment utilizing personnel on site and at deployed locations.
- Superior organization and communication skills are critical.
Preferred: - Knowledge of RELEX or similar reliability software
- Knowledge of industry standard CMMS software
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Required: - Previous experience defining LSA requirements, performing LSA tasks, and establishing/operating ILS program required.
- Previous experience as an Integrated Logistics Support Analysis Manager and/or Program Manager on US Navy or US Marine Corps program strongly desired.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field required; minimum of 7 years experience in the Logistics field.
- Will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship)
Preferred:- Previous logistics experience with department of defense logistics support, fielding activity or operations support preferred.
- Previous experience supervising employees, performance management, goal setting and accountability are required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:- Office and or manufacturing environment.
- May work extended hours or weekends to complete tasks and meet schedule.
- Ability to travel infrequently primarily to domestic locations in the US.
- May work in manufacturing and/or field environments with potential exposure to uncontrolled climate conditions and potential exposure to noise, dust and hazardous chemicals.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (computer work, phones, writing).
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds in accordance with KUAS General Safety Training guidelines.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: - 10-25% May be required between KUAS locations and vendor sites.
