- Project Name: HR Technical Upgrade (HRTU)
- Position Description: Provide Infrastructure/PeopleSoft Administration support for current PeopleSoft Applications and assist with the design, upgrade and implement solutions for OGS HCM, Portal applications.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Research, Document and Guide the PeopleSoft Infrastructure design/layout based on PeopleSoft best practices for implementation on upgrade.
- Support Installation, configuration/application triage of the various software components of PeopleSoft (WebLogic, Tuxedo, ElasticSearch, Oracle database) for new Peoplesoft required environments with latest technology stack.
- Provide technical direction to meet business needs.
- Work with other agencies and technical support teams in pursuit of technically excellent solutions.
- Produce technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction.
- Research, resolve, and test configurations.
- Provide Research, Analysis and PeopleSoft Application support for the current Legacy PeopleSoft Applications.
- Support the proposed Peoplesoft upgrade project as required.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
- Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
- 84+ Months (Expert): Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 months experience in Oracle's PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 or higher Administration, duties include troubleshooting installation, configuration, tuning, upgrade/patching, maintaining process scheduler, web domains, Application domains, monitor batch jobs and perform code migrations in a Unix environment.
- 84 Months experience utilizing PeopleSoft People Tools 8.5 or higher, including troubleshooting, installation, upgrading, patching, tuning/configuration.
- 60 Months experience with PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application upgrades utilizing PUM and Change Assistant tools.
- 60 Months experience with WebLogic and Tuxedo including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, upgrading, and high availability (HA).
- 36 Months experience SQL and Unix shell scripting, creating, modifying and debugging in any of the following Unix shells: bash, korn, bourne.
- 36 months experience in installation and configuration of Phire tool.
