Summary:

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations teams by implementing automation, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. This role supports the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and secure environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Helm, or similar technologies.
  • Automate application deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and operations teams to improve software delivery and system reliability.
  • Support cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring scalability, availability, and performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application issues.
  • Implement DevOps best practices, including version control, automation, and configuration management.
  • Maintain and enhance Git repositories and associated workflows.
  • Support system security, compliance, and operational readiness initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in DevOps engineering.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
  • Experience developing and deploying CI/CD pipelines in on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, or equivalent automation and scripting tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with Git and modern source control workflows.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), automation, and infrastructure management.
  • Experience troubleshooting and optimizing deployment and operational processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Linux-based environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and automation expertise.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance management tools.

Salary Disclosure:

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
