Pay Range - $70 - $75/hr
One of our clients is looking for an SAP ABAP Developer to join their team onsite in San Antonio, TX.
Required Qualifications
Experience with S/4HANA, OData, and CDS views.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
Proficiency in full lifecycle ABAP custom development, including enhancement frameworks, BADIs, and BAPIs.
Familiarity with new S/4HANA coding syntax and best practices.
Ability to develop ABAP solutions independently from functional design documents.
Strong communication skills.
Role Overview
We are seeking an ABAP Developer for a new integrations project focused on custom development. The role involves working with CDS views, AMDPs, and new S/4HANA syntaxes. The ideal candidate will be able to take high-level functional design documents and independently develop complex ABAP solutions while collaborating with technical and functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop custom ABAP solutions, including work with CDS views and the new S/4HANA syntax.
Work with technical and functional team members to design, analyze, and develop prioritized solutions.
Extend and integrate new solutions with pre-existing custom applications.
Resolve system defects identified during the testing phase.
Gain and maintain a good understanding of the solution's application architecture and database structure.
Adhere to development standards and follow the change management process for application deployment.
Demonstrate flexibility in working across different technical and functional domains.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP UI5, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori and Business Application Studio (BAS).
Knowledge of TSW (Trader's and Scheduler's Workbench).
