.Net Developer

About the Role: The PowerBuilder/.NET developer position will serve as backup support on the Banking application. The individual in this position will assist with translating formal requirements documentation into database and program solutions. Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and as a team. The ability to adapt to change and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers is essential. Comply with all system development policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including coding standards and reviews. Fully document work performed and provide technology turnover on all work performed to other client staff.

Position Description
Only qualified Senior PowerBuilder/.NET Developer Banking Applications located in the Richmond, VA area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence

Job responsibilities:
• The individual will be primarily supporting the FIIS application, which is written in PowerBuilder 
• They will also provide support to other applications that are written in .NET
• Performs complex system administration, maintenance and support for production systems
• Develops and maintains technical documentation
•  Performing system administration, maintenance, and support
• Responding to system alerts and user events; making recommendations; and documenting findings
• Designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, and implementing programs and systems
• Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and technical documentation
• Performing related work as required

• Website Maintenance (Asp.net, MVC, Web forms, Blazor) (5 Years)
• Visual Studio (5 Years)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript (5 Years)
• WEB API Maintenance (C#, EF, LINQ) (1 Year)
• Oracle/ SQL Server (5 Years)
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Visio, SharePoint and Office applications (5 Years)
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities (5 Years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (5 Years)
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as a team (5 Years)
• Highly motivated and self-directed (5 Years)

Preferred Skills:
• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server
• Client-server (EXE) application maintenance (C#/VB.NET, Entity Framework, ORACLE)
