Role Overview:
- Assess team that develops applications on top of Salesforce in the Agentforce platform - vision use cases, assess current state vs future state gaps, make recommendations for the prioritized roadmap.
Objectives of AI :
Salesforce:
1. More value in the CRM implementation. Get more done with the same amount of people and money. Customization needed - too slow to do it now for the 3500 users. More throughput from the team.
1. Overall implementation costs are not driving the value we need it to.
2. Getting more work done allows us to do more bespoke UI's, processes, automation
3. Drive more customization: custom user experiences that align with our hundreds of niche business processes
4. Do a better job of working with the business on the requirements of what they want from us. And make it not so punitive if we build the wrong thing.
2. Optimize the shape of the teams to the increased throughput.
1. Optimize the team, people, competencies to match the value.
3. Eventually - scale back the team if it becomes possible.
Scope of Work
- The consultant will evaluate the current environment, facilitate alignment on AI objectives, and deliver recommendations to enable scalable, governed adoption of agentic AI.
Key Activities:
- Assess current-state Snowflake environment, data architecture, and AI/ML capabilities
- Evaluate organizational AI maturity, including governance, tooling, and processes
- Define and align on desired future-state vision and outcomes for agentic AI adoption
- Perform gap analysis comparing current state to future state
- Facilitate workshops to identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases
- Provide best practice recommendations across people, process, and technology
- Advise on AI governance required to support advanced maturity stages
- Develop a prioritized implementation roadmap with recommended next steps

- Current State Assessment Summary
- AI Maturity & Gap Analysis
- Use Case Identification & Prioritization
- Best Practices & Governance Recommendations
- Prioritized Roadmap (phased, actionable next steps)
- Final Written Report with findings and recommendations
Approach:
- A collaborative, workshop-driven engagement leveraging industry best practices and benchmarking insights from similar organizations. The focus will be on practical, executable recommendations tailored to the client’s environment and goals.
Required Expertise:
- Agentic AI and modern AI/ML implementation experience
- Experience conducting maturity assessments and building transformation roadmaps
- Strong facilitation skills for workshops and stakeholder alignment
- Knowledge of AI governance and enterprise adoption patterns
- Agentforce development platform experience
- AI agentic development expertise
- Ability to lead visioning workshops
- Ability to build and prioritize use cases
- Ability to create gap analysis based on current state vs future state
