Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support missile and sensor development programs. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions, and you will play a key role in supporting the test series leading up to flight testing.

What You Will Be Doing
The selected Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer will lead subsystem and system-level integration and testing, use of test equipment during missile processing, and preparation of test related documentation. The candidate will lead a team in the planning and execution of the development, qualification and integration test effort, to include subsystems and missile level activities. This role will also require the candidate to oversee the assembly and test of mockup missiles and live ordnance flight test missiles. The candidate will work under only general direction reporting to a program IT&E Lead. The candidate will communicate technical status and issues internally to program and functional leadership, as well as externally to customers. Candidate must be comfortable coordinating with various cross-functional organizations, groups and facilities to ensure program requirements are being met and in support of various test activities. When necessary, the candidate will travel to Lockheed Martin production facilities, supplier's facilities, and customer facilities.

Key Duties:
Lead a diverse team of IT&E Engineers through program execution responsible for cost, schedule, and technical efforts.
Leads the development, preparation, and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, working closely with teams throughout the process.
Leads the preparation and support of technical interchange meetings, customer design reviews, Test Readiness Reviews and Pre-Ship Reviews.
Be an LM interface to the customer test team and be responsible for ensuring on-time deliveries of program work products to the customer.
Provide troubleshooting leadership, identify cause and corrective action to resolve technical build problems and develop re-test instructions when needed.
Identify and lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase the repeatability, efficiency, and throughput of test operations.
Ensure that configuration management is maintained with all documentation.
Cross-Disciplinary Coordination - Work closely with software, hardware, RF, electrical, and mission-operations teams to resolve integration issues.
Mentorship & Expertise - Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and serve as a subject-matter expert on missile integration and test.

The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Secret Clearance required to start.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or an engineering related field and 9+ years of professional experience
Familiar with the application of systems engineering and software development processes to the design, development, integration, test, and verification of complex systems
Previous Missile Development, Integration, Verification, and Validation (IV&V) Experience
Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of recent and related experience in a IT&E leadership role.
Experience in Team Leadership and Cost Account Management (CAM)
Experience with Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process including working through System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), and Pre-Ship Readiness Reviews (PSRR)
Active Secret Clearance required

Desired skills

Familiar with MFC Missile Development Programs (e.g. JASSM, LRASM)
Minimum of 2 years of Previous L-Code Leadership (direct employee reports)
Experience with Configuration and Data Management (CDM) of Hardware and Software
Experience with Laboratory System Integration and Test or Hardware In the Loop (HWIL)
Experience with Ground and Flight Test activities on military products/platforms
Experience with a diversity of complex electrical (hardware) systems
Experience developing test plans, test procedures, and test reports
Experience with Engineering Reviews (Test Readiness, Flight Readiness, Design Reviews)
Experience with data bus standards, like MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760
Experience with instrumentation and data capture (e.g. Oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters, Matrix Switch Cards, Digital Input/Output PXIe instruments, AC/DC power distribution systems)
Experience with data analysis, using tools like MATLAB or Python
Experience processing and analyzing telemetry data
Experience with managing and tracking configured products for test including Safety of Flight (SoF) Systems.
Experience with probability, statistics, mathematical modeling
Experience working in classified/access-controlled facilities
Ability to read and use technical schematics, drawings, software specs, and manuals along with other technical materials to resolve complex problems
Experience with requirements tracking and bug tracking tools such as DOORS and JIRA
Understanding of electrical design, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
Experience integrating and testing RF equipment
Experience using RF Test Equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes
Master's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
Willingness to travel to government test sites and remote locations for extended durations.

Work Schedule Information

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
