Role Overview
We are looking for a data platform manager to join a data technology organization. In this role, you will lead a team of platform engineers during a strategic migration of data assets to the cloud. You will work closely with the data office organization to influence business and technology strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of colleagues and contractors, providing resource allocation, coaching, and development.
Translate technical designs into implemented physical data models that meet governance, architecture, and business requirements for data warehousing.
Work with operational data and acquisition teams to manage incoming sources and support downstream systems for reporting and analytics.
Collaborate with partners to prototype and recommend data solutions while embracing new technologies.
Remain current on technology developments and align future state goals with strategic business goals.
Develop and maintain a technology roadmap for aligned data platforms, including the execution of strategic and tactical initiatives.
Maintain stable operations, ensuring operational metrics are proactively managed and reported.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor s degree.
Experience: 7+ years of experience as a technology manager for data warehouse teams.
