Candidates MUST HAVE excellant comminication skills and able to interface with management and team!
The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates is seeking a visionary technical champion to spearhead the evolution, scaling, and internal ownership of an enterprise-level ServiceNow ecosystem. In this pivotal remote role, you will bridge the gap between initial vendor deployment and long-term internal mastery, transforming business strategies into robust, scalable platform architectures.
If you are an expert engineer and natural leader who thrives on auditing code, mentoring rising talent, and establishing world-class governance standards, this contract-to-hire engagement offers an exceptional launchpad to drive lasting organizational impact.
What You’ll Do
Champion the seamless migration of ServiceNow applications from initial deployment to stable, high-performing production environments.
Audit and document all legacy and current third-party platform configurations to optimize system integrity and streamline processes.
Diagnose structural gaps, process inefficiencies, and non-scalable designs, driving aggressive corrective strategies to safeguard architecture.
Synthesize complex corporate objectives into actionable, high-impact platform blueprints alongside product management stakeholders.
Engineer diverse technical solution options, outlining clear trade-offs to empower leadership with data-driven decision-making.
Execute rigorous code assessments, oversee quality assurance frameworks, and deliver high-level hands-on development (balancing roughly equal parts leadership and technical governance).
Orchestrate the strategic shift from vendor-dependent delivery to a fully self-sufficient, internal organizational support framework.
Counterbalance external vendor choices by enforcing strict compliance with architectural best practices and enterprise-wide standards.
Unify cross-functional teams to verify that custom modules, third-party integrations, and automated workflows map directly to macro business goals.
Cultivate internal bench strength by coaching, mentoring, and upskilling junior engineers and technical interns.
What You Bring
Proven Expertise: Extensive history of steering end-to-end ServiceNow rollouts, platform transitions, and post-launch optimization phases.
Platform Mastery: Advanced technical familiarity with ServiceNow App Engine, custom workflow automation engines, and custom application architecture.
Critical Evaluation: A sharp eye for analyzing legacy scripts and system designs, with the professional assertiveness to course-correct weak technical strategies.
Vendor Management: Background operating alongside external contractors, with a demonstrated ability to mandate high delivery standards and best practices.
Functional Alignment: Exceptional knack for translating ambiguous operational needs into concrete technical configurations.
Governance Focus: Solid background in QA methodologies, peer code reviews, and strict release management protocols.
Hybrid Leadership: Comfort operating primarily as a strategic guide and architect, while retaining the tactical skills to code when complex challenges arise.
Communication & Integrity: Articulate, commanding presentation skills paired with uncompromised professional honesty regarding verified, active industry credentials.
Desirable Extras
Familiarity navigating cloud-native data environments (such as AWS platforms), including API mechanics and automated data pipelines.
Conceptual knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) strategies and their cross-platform integration points with ServiceNow.
Active, referenceable ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Compensation & Total Rewards
Core Compensation: Premium hourly compensation spanning $65.00/hr to $70.00/hr (W2 basis) during the initial contract period, tailored to depth of experience.
Performance & Equity Incentives: Eligible for conversion to a permanent salaried corporate structure with associated annual merit reviews, performance-based bonus structures, or corporate incentive eligibility upon full-time hiring.
Health & Wellness Perks: Access to comprehensive W2 contractor healthcare options, including medical, dental, and vision insurance pathways, supplemented by wellness resources.
Future Planning: Retirement savings options (such as 401k enrollment availability), corporate life insurance protocols, and professional development path planning.
Work-Life Balance: Complete remote work autonomy (operating seamlessly on East Coast standard hours) with a predictable professional schedule, paving the way for traditional PTO, paid holidays, and parental leave packages upon permanent conversion.
