Embedded Hardware Software Integration Tester (DO-178A)

job summary:

The Role: In this position, you'll be at the heart of the testing process, conducting manual tests on rigs and supporting the verification of embedded real-time software. You'll work closely with an experienced team that is ready to help you get up to speed on proprietary tools and methodologies.

responsibilities:

Job Duties -

- Perform Hardware/Software Integration Testing (HSIT) for the program

- Conduct manual testing on a test rigs

- Support verification testing of embedded real-time software developed under DO-178A Level A processes.

- Develop and execute HSIT test procedures.

- Create test result reports and weekly status reports.

qualifications:

Job Requirements -

- Experience with electronic engine controls for gas turbine engines (preferred).

- Must be able to Demonstrated knowledge of the DO-178A software development process for Level A software.

- Ability to quickly learn and adapt through on-the-job training.

- Flexibility to work 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends.

- Experience doing embedded software integration testing

- Experience with working with in test rig environments

Desired Skills & Experience -

Experience with electronic engine controls for gas turbine engines would be preferred
