Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Security Developer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves integrating with Java-based APIs for HSMs and KMSs technologies with a strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation. The ideal candidate will develop Terraform modules, write Ansible playbooks, and work with Python and Go within an agile Scrum environment. The position requires a strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and Git-based development practices.
Responsibilities: - Design, integrate, and optimize solutions interacting with Java-based APIs
- Develop reliable, secure, and scalable services and automation components using Python and Go
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, connectivity, and data integrity
- Build, maintain, and enhance Terraform modules and custom providers for TFE
- Write Ansible playbooks to automate configuration management, system provisioning, and application deployment
- Champion IaC best practices, ensuring consistent, repeatable, and secure infrastructure deployments across environments
- Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing, building, and deployment workflows
- Perform code check-ins, pull request reviews, and branching strategy management using Bitbucket
- Ensure alignment with DevOps standards, including static code analysis, security scanning, compliance checks, and automated validation
- Operate as an active, collaborative member of a Scrum team using Jira for sprint planning, tracking, and reporting
- Participate in daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes, tooling, and development practices
Requirements: - 7 to 10 years of experience
- Experience working with security technologies like Thales, FutureX, Utimaco HSMs and KMS products
- Extensive experience integrating with Java APIs
- Hands-on expertise building Terraform modules and providers, preferably on Terraform Enterprise (TFE)
- Proficiency developing Ansible playbooks for automation and configuration management
- Working experience with Python and Golang
- Strong understanding of IaC principles, DevOps practices, and cloud-based automation
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket (or similar Git platforms), and automated workflows
- Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week
Pay range: $79.74 - $87.74 per hour
