Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Systems Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience supporting and optimizing AthenaOne (AthenaHealth) software. This role requires strong clinical workflow expertise, system optimization experience, and the ability to collaborate closely with providers and clinical leadership.
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between clinical teams and IT, ensuring AthenaOne supports efficient, high-quality patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and optimize the AthenaOne platform
  • Analyze clinical workflows and lead system change management initiatives
  • Lead implementation, testing, system upgrades, and enhancements
  • Build and refine templates, order sets, reports, and system configurations
  • Address provider questions and troubleshoot AthenaOne issues
  • Conduct meetings with clinical teams to review workflows and plan system improvements
  • Coordinate with vendors and IS partners to validate fixes and enhancements
  • Perform system testing and ensure quality assurance before deployment
  • Train clinical staff and provide ongoing support
  • Prioritize urgent requests and ensure system updates align with clinician workflows
  • Drive IT initiatives and manage project execution effectively
  • Use MS Office tools for documentation, reporting, and communication
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting AthenaOne (AthenaHealth)
  • Strong experience in:
    • Clinical workflow analysis
    • System optimization and ownership
    • Change management
    • Implementation and upgrades leadership
    • End-user training and support
  • Experience working directly with providers and clinical stakeholders
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
