Title: Sr. Project Manager (Network Implementation)

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid/Onsite, C2H)

Duration: 6-12+ months Contract

Summary:

·       The Senior Client Project / Program Manager is a subject matter expert who leads concurrent client projects (standard to complex) and may manage multi-workstream programs across business areas, geographies, and technologies. Extensive networking implementation experience is required.

·       This role owns delivery end to end—aligning stakeholders, driving outcomes, managing risks and dependencies, and transitioning solutions to operations (internal or client). Success is measured by results achieved, not activity performed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accountable owner for assigned projects/workstreams, regardless of matrixed delivery, shared execution, or partner involvement.
  • Lead concurrent standard to complex projects/workstreams; for programs, coordinate multiple related workstreams toward a common objective.
  • Engage stakeholders to deliver from concept through implementation and transition to operations.
  • Proactively identify risks, constraints, dependencies, and decision points; bring options and recommendations forward.
  • Set clear expectations and manage escalations with context, impact, and recommended paths forward.
  • Manage scope, change, acceptance, and deliverables; ensure the solution is delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Own weekly execution cadence (priorities, progress tracking, and follow-through on actions).
  • Maintain decision-oriented communications, including executive-level status as appropriate.
  • Document decisions, risks, issues, action items, and acceptance/sign-off; drive issues to closure.
  • Coordinate across multiple service providers and stakeholders; align delivery with Integrator governance, Prime Contractor delivery expectations, and PMO standards.
  • Ensure compliance with SLA, quality, and operational readiness requirements.
  • Support test events, technology rehearsals, and critical operation period.

To thrive in this role, you need:

  • Advanced project/program management skills (plan, organize, and execute end to end).
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage expectations, customer satisfaction, and escalations to high service levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to deliver clear, decision-oriented updates to all levels.
  • Strong team leadership and collaboration in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to manage urgent, complex work in parallel; structured, detail-oriented, and big-picture aware.
  • Business acumen and commercial awareness; able to influence with a collaborative approach.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Change and governance execution expertise (scope, schedule, stakeholder change, and delivery cadence).
  • Ownership mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, accountable for outcomes, and persistent through issue resolution.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, project management, or a related field or additional 5 years’ experience.
  • PMI certification (e.g., PMP) and/or ITIL certification.

Required experience:

  • 8–12+ years of project/program management experience delivering large-scale IT, telecom, or infrastructure programs.
  • Experience operating in a multi-vendor / SIAM environment.
  • Strong risk, dependency, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing multi-workstream programs.
  • Proven delivery in fixed-deadline environments (large events, go-lives, migrations).

Preferred (not required) Certifications or Experience:

  • Telecom or networking certifications
  • Hands-on Telecom project planning and/or implementation experience
