Role Overview
As a Data Center Technician, you will be a primary resolver for the support team, skilled at troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues. This role involves creating and maintaining documentation, passing knowledge to junior staff, and performing system administration tasks. You will work autonomously to resolve most support issues and execute projects while acting as an initial escalation point for junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware infrastructure issues.
- Create and maintain documentation on supported technologies.
- Pass down knowledge of technologies to junior staff.
- Perform basic to intermediate system administration tasks, including remote tasks.
- Automate tasks with scripts when necessary.
- Work autonomously to resolve most support issues.
- Execute small projects independently and assist with larger local projects.
- Act as the initial escalation point for junior technicians.
- Innovate and make decisions, while also following direction with attention to detail.
Work Schedule
Candidates must be available to work four 10-hour days. Schedules, including front and back-end shifts, will be determined based on business needs.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $20.00 and $27.00 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package. Specifics will be discussed during the application process.
