As a Systems Engineer your role is to leverage Power BI reporting, develop QuickBase apps to enhance data-driven decision-making, support SAP readiness, implementation and streamline business processes. As a Systems Engineer, you will empower our organization by creating interactive and insightful reports, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing workflows through custom applications. Your contributions will directly impact on our ability to drive operational excellence and achieve strategic goals, making you a vital part of our team's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect data from a variety of sources, including the Lean ERP, SharePoint files, QuickBase, Sales Force, and other datasets.
  • Integrate systems to streamline business processes.
  • Support SAP preparation and implementation on site.
  • Manage statistical metadata and assess data quality.
  • Handle confidential information in a responsible manner.
  • Create mechanisms for exploring structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Commission and decommission datasets.
  • Define new collection techniques and identify patterns in the data.
  • Generate insights from the available information.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Examine trends in the data for clue to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Create Power BI reports, dashboards, and apps to be analyzed by management.
  • Create applications within the QuickBase environment, develop documentation, and deploy apps.
  • Build automations for internal processes.
  • Translate operational requirements into system design decisions.
  • Support functional leaders during change management, training, and stabilization.
  • Create confidence in the system by ensuring it improves, not hinders, execution on the shop floor.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, Licenses & Certifications
  • Ability to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis without sponsorship
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 6-10 years of systems, with hands on ERP, or digital transformation experience
  • Strong understanding of ERP, production planning, inventory management, supply chain and financial flows
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, reporting, governance), Low-code platforms (Quick Base or similar), Data migration and system integration (SAP)
  • Demonstrated experience in locating and defining new process improvement opportunities based on data collected from an ERP system.
  • SAP certification is a plus
  • Power BI certification is preferred
  • QuickBase certification is preferred

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Must possess an analytical mindset.
  • Ability to operate independently with executive-level accountability.
  • Strong communication skills across IT, operations, and leadership.
  • Skilled problem solver - logical and methodical approach in problem solving.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously independent of close supervision.
  • Proven experience leading ERP implementation, preferably SAP in manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in data collection, statistical modeling, data mining, database management, report generation, data visualization, business process development, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of advanced methodologies like lean manufacturing and six sigma analysis
  • Demonstrated capabilities to work collaboratively and cross-functionally while successfully developing and maintaining key professional and customer relationships.
  • Current on latest technology and analytical processing best practices.
  • Proficient with MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.
  • ERP knowledge (Lean or SAP) and usage a plus.
  • Power BI creation and knowledge a plus.
  • Power Automate knowledge is a plus.
  • QuickBase knowledge and usage is a plus.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to create a long-term business development plan.

  • High level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and detail oriented.
