Job Title : Senior Oracle EBS Technical Architect (Apps & DBA) (need architect experience, 20+ total experience)

Location: NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), Albany, New York 12210

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

  • Extensive experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1.x and R12.2.x technical architecture, including applications tier architecture, configuration, and maintenance
  • Strong hands-on experience with EBS patching and maintenance utilities such as AutoConfig, ADPATCH, ADOP, and ADCONFIG
  • Expertise in configuring and supporting advanced EBS architectures including reverse proxy, load balancers, and DMZ configurations
  • Experience implementing and managing security protocols such as SSL, TLS, OAuth, and other application/database tier security mechanisms
  • Deep understanding of Oracle EBS R12.x database architecture, including RDBMS administration and associated utilities
  • Proven experience upgrading Oracle database versions (10g, 11g, 12c, 19c)
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management) and file storage systems
  • Experience integrating and maintaining custom extensions within Oracle Financials Application Suite, including support during upgrades and migrations
  • Expertise in migrating Oracle Financials applications across multiple platforms including Linux, Solaris, Windows, and AIX
  • Hands-on experience with system-level utilities for performance monitoring and file management such as tar, zip, iostat, vmstat, top, and similar tools
  • Experience analyzing CPU, memory, and system resource utilization to optimize performance
  • Experience working with third-party applications integrated with Oracle EBS, including Kofax MarkView and other file-transfer or direct integration systems
  • Strong database administration experience supporting Oracle Financials and Kofax MarkView schemas
  • Experience managing ASM tablespaces and disk allocation to ensure optimal database performance and availability
  • Hands-on experience with CommVault for backup, recovery, and cloning of Oracle EBS environments (Production to Dev/Test)
  • Experience ensuring backup integrity and usability, and supporting point-in-time recovery requirements
  • Ability to coordinate database and application support during OS patching cycles (especially AIX) and ensure system stability post-patching
  • Experience coordinating and executing Oracle EBS-supported database upgrades
  • Experience providing production support and maintenance for Kofax MarkView document management system integrated with Oracle Financials (Purchasing and Payables modules)
  • Ability to collaborate with Kofax support teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Experience handling MarkView-specific maintenance, upgrade processes, and technical documentation
  • Strong understanding of enterprise system lifecycle, including upgrades, migrations, patching, and ongoing support
