Job Title: Manufacturing Technician – Level 2

Location: Hanover, MD--Onsite

Client: American aerospace and defense company

Duration: 12 Month Contract

 

Role Summary:

Seeking a Manufacturing Technician Level 2 to build, process, and test aerospace subassemblies and assemblies while following established manufacturing procedures, technical documentation, and safety requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Build, process, and test subassemblies and assemblies.

·       Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, prints, specifications, and technical manuals.

·       Follow established processes and written instructions accurately.

·       Operate hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and industrial equipment.

·       Safely handle hazardous materials in compliance with OSHA and company policies.

·       Identify and communicate nonconformances to management and Quality Assurance.

·       Work overtime and weekends as required.

·       Perform other assigned duties.

 

Basic Qualifications

·       High School diploma/equivalent plus 2 years of additional education and/or relevant experience.

·       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

·       Ability to understand and follow written instructions and technical drawings without deviation.

·       Basic math and measurement skills.

·       Strong communication skills.

·       No security clearance required to start.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience with industrial equipment, hand tools, and precision measurement instruments.

·       Strong attention to detail.

·       Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
