Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Expert Solution Architect to lead enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing Target State Architectures (TSA), leading cloud transformation programs, and delivering scalable, secure, and compliant solutions across AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
This role will drive end-to-end solution architecture from application discovery through migration, cutover, and post-production stabilization while collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design Target State Architecture (TSA) and define enterprise cloud migration strategies.
Conduct application discovery, dependency mapping, and migration wave planning.
Develop migration roadmaps, architecture documentation, runbooks, and cutover plans.
Architect and migrate enterprise workloads to AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
Lead infrastructure modernization, platform upgrades, and re-platforming initiatives.
Configure cloud infrastructure, networking, disaster recovery, storage, databases, and Active Directory integration.
Participate in architecture governance, technical reviews, and migration planning sessions.
Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and organizational governance standards.
Lead migration execution, cutover activities, rollback planning, and post-migration support.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills
10+ years of Solution Architecture experience.
Strong expertise in AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Harness).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong knowledge of cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and application transformation.
Experience with database migration and storage modernization.
Knowledge of containerization and managed container platforms.
Experience with Target State Architecture documentation and migration planning.
Strong understanding of security, compliance, governance, and cloud best practices.
Experience with vulnerability assessments, authentication/authorization, and data security testing.
Familiarity with SAST, DAST, SCA, Container Security, and IaC Security Scanning.
Experience integrating Active Directory, SSO, and Customer Managed Keys (CMK).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Solutions Architect – Professional Certification.
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification.
Experience working within Financial Services or other highly regulated industries.
Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
Experience supporting AI/ML initiatives within cloud migration programs.
