Role Overview
The DWP Presales Solution Architect is responsible for owning endtoend presales activities in the Digital Workplace, SIAM, and ITSM domains. The role involves working closely with Sales, Delivery, and Partner teams to design scalable workplace solutions, respond to RFPs, perform effort and cost estimations, conduct solution demos, and support revenue growth through consultative engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Presales & Solutioning
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs, prepare technical proposals, solution architectures, sizing, Bill of Materials (BoM), and effort/cost estimations for Digital Workplace and Service Desk engagements.
- Deliver solution presentations, product trials, POCs, and demos to prospective customers.
- Support Sales in preparing commercial offers, proposals, and deal closures.
Solution Architecture & Consulting
- Design endtoend SIAM / ITSM solutions covering:
- Business Service Management
- Infrastructure & Application Management
- IT Service Management and Operations
- Act as an SME on ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC, Ivanti, Cherwell, Atlassian, and related platforms.
- Engage with customers to understand business challenges, current-state landscape, and transformation goals, translating them into viable technical and process-driven solutions.
- Work as a consultant to deliver SOWs, POCs, and workshops on SIAM / ITSM solutions.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
- Manage customer relationships and alliances within SIAM / ITSM and Digital Workplace opportunities.
- Collaborate with partners, OEMs, and internal delivery teams to define and validate solutions.
- Participate in client meetings, due diligence sessions, solution reviews, and proposal defenses.
Strategy, Innovation & Revenue Growth
- Drive new business generation and contribute to revenue growth within the assigned practice.
- Implement preplanned sales strategies to achieve performance and business milestones.
- Work with Sales and Delivery leadership to define and execute presales and solutioning strategies.
- Lead innovation initiatives and create solution assets, presentations, and presales collaterals.
Due Diligence & Transformation
- Engage in presales and postsales due diligence, including analysis of customer environments and operating models.
- Recommend process, tooling, and operating model improvements as part of transformation initiatives.
- Support people, process, and technology transitions for solutioned engagements.
Mandatory Requirements
Experience & Core Skills
- Presales experience in the Digital Workplace (DWP) domain with strong customer-facing exposure.
- Proven experience in effort estimation for Service Desk and Digital Workplace services.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong consulting mindset with the ability to align solutions to business and IT strategies within commercial constraints.
Domain Knowledge (Cost & Effort Estimation Focus)
- Experience in designing Service Desk solutions.
- Strong ITIL process knowledge.
- Expertise in Field Support solution design.
- Knowledge of End User Device Management operations including deployment, patching, monitoring, and support.
Technology & Platforms
- Device Management: SCCM, Intune, Jamf, Active Directory, VDI, Citrix
- Messaging & Collaboration: O365 / M365, Google Workspace
- Awareness of market-leading automation tools and approaches for workplace and service management.
- Experience creating solution documents, architecture diagrams, and customer presentations.
Good to Have (Preferred Skills)
- Deep expertise in at least one technology: SCCM, Intune, O365/M365, VDI, Citrix
- Transformation experience, including migrations and M&A programs
- Knowledge of Voice and Contact Center platforms: Avaya, Cisco, Genesys
- Experience with Modern Device Management implementations
- Experience defining transition strategies across people, process, and technology
- Participation in due diligence activities for new or large-scale engagements
- Knowledge of SIAM, ISO 20000, COBIT, and exposure to Agile / DevOps methodologies

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
