Infrastructure Engineer

Volt is immediately hiring for Infrastructure Engineer - AURORA, CO

What You Will Do

• Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure
• Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines
• Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions
• Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management
• Provide operational support for the platform

12 month fulltime contract with potential for hire

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Required Skills

• Bachelor s degree in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics, plus 5 years of relevant experience.
• Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work experience
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g., Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
• Experience with RedHat Linux

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab)
• Experience troubleshooting applications and infrastructure services on Linux-based operating systems
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
• Experience developing, testing, and delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework
• Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (Security+ CE or equivalent)

Pay Range: $90.00 - $ 100.00 per hour.
