Meeting notes with the manager -
Seeking a senior, hands-on techno-functional Product Manager / BSA with deep SAP Finance and Treasury expertise, not a pure business PM and not a developer.
The ideal candidate has strong SAP FI foundations and extensive Treasury implementation experience, especially in advanced Treasury transformations such as TMS (Treasury Management Systems) and FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management), along with cash management, forecasting, FX risk management, and Treasury operations.
This role requires someone who has led or significantly owned SAP Treasury implementations end-to-end and understands how Treasury integrates with FI, AP/AR, MM, accounting, and downstream processes.
The manager is explicitly looking for a true SME who can operate independently in a metrics-driven environment and hit the ground running with minimal guidance.
The candidate must be hands-on - comfortable working daily in the system, writing and grooming user stories, translating business needs into technical requirements, collaborating closely with engineering teams, and participating fully in Agile delivery. This is not a strategy-only or oversight role.
Experience in a subscription or SaaS business model is strongly preferred, as it reduces ramp-up time and ensures faster understanding of revenue, accounting, and Treasury flows.
The candidate should be San Jose based (onsite), experienced working with senior finance stakeholders (Treasury, Accounting, Tax, AP/AR), and bring a driver mentality rather than requiring step-by-step direction.
Absolute must-haves for this role:
1. SAP FI with deep Treasury expertise
2. SAP Treasury implementations (TMS, FSCM, cash management, FX, forecasting)
3. Hands-on Product Manager / BSA experience (techno-functional)
4. End-to-end implementation ownership
5. Strong accounting & Treasury process knowledge
6. Ability to translate business requirements into technical stories
Strongly preferred but not strict blocker:
SaaS / subscription business exposure preferred for faster ramp-up
