Summary
We're seeking a Sr. Staff Technical Program Manager to lead a large‑scale ERP finance transformation, including migrations from our existing ERP to new platforms and modernization of core financial and operational processes. This role is part of the central Transformation and Program Management Office and partners with senior business and technology leaders to ensure the ERP landscape becomes a scalable, well‑controlled backbone for Clients’ growth.
The impact you’ll have
You will drive a company‑level transformation of how our business plans, records, and reports its financial and operational performance, using ERP best practices to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and improve data quality. By bringing structure and clarity to a complex multi‑year effort, you will reduce execution risk, accelerate time‑to‑value from the new ERP platform, and enable leaders to make faster, better‑informed decisions grounded in consistent, reliable information.
Responsibilities
Program strategy and vision: Define and maintain the ERP finance transformation vision, scope, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with company strategy and finance objectives.
Roadmap and portfolio: Own the multi‑phase ERP roadmap and associated program portfolio, sequencing initiatives to balance risk, capacity, and business value.
Governance and execution framework: Stand up and lead the governance model and integrated program plan, driving clear decision‑making, transparency on risks and dependencies, and predictable delivery.
Finance and ERP process transformation: Partner with process owners to transform core finance and operational processes (for example, order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, record‑to‑report, planning) in line with ERP best practices and stronger controls.
Data, systems, and control outcomes: Own the definition of ERP‑related data, integration, and control outcomes so the implemented solution supports reliable reporting, compliance, and efficient operations.
Change, adoption, and measurement: Lead the overall approach for stakeholder readiness, adoption, and post‑go‑live stabilization, and provide concise, insight‑driven updates and recommendations to VP+ stakeholders.
Requirements
10+ years leading high‑complexity, business‑critical technical or transformation programs that span multiple functions and systems, with a track record of influencing VP‑level stakeholders.
Deep experience with ERP‑enabled business transformation, including large finance or enterprise‑wide ERP implementations or migrations.
Proven ability to set up and run program governance and PMO‑like structures for complex initiatives, including integrated planning, RAID management, and executive reporting.
Advanced ability to structure ambiguous problem spaces, conduct fit‑gap and trade‑off discussions, and drive alignment on decisions that balance process standardization, flexibility, and control.
Strong data‑driven mindset and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience mentoring and elevating other TPMs or project managers and introducing scalable, repeatable program management practices.
Skills
Notes from the Hiring Manager's spotlight call: The team is seeking a very senior Technical Program Manager to support an ERP migration project, with deep experience operating within a business-technical team and representing the technical side of the Finance module. This individual should have a strong track record of partnering closely with Finance program managers and Technical Operations teams, serving as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders. The role will be involved from the early planning stages of the program and will report directly to the Director of Technical Program Management. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience and hands-on exposure top-tier ERP platforms. The preferred work model is onsite in Mountain View, CA three days per week; however, fully remote candidates may be considered if they are able to work in the PST time zone and travel to the Mountain View office at least once a month or as needed.
