Network Engineer (Cloud And Infrastructure)

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop integrated network solutions including hardware, software, and telecommunications systems.
• Plan, build, test, and implement network systems across diverse platforms and architectures.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and cloud-based networking components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and infrastructure issues.
• Oversee installation and integration of network hardware and layered software solutions.
• Ensure network performance, scalability, and security meet organizational and client requirements.
• Monitor bandwidth utilization and optimize network capacity and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise IT initiatives.
• Lead or contribute to network and infrastructure projects, including acting as a technical lead when required.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for network architecture, configurations, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Experience designing and managing enterprise network environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking services such as VPC, Direct Connect, Route 53, and Transit Gateway.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
• Experience with firewalls, load balancers, and network security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or AWS Certified Advanced Networking.
• Experience working in hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Terraform.
• Experience leading projects or mentoring junior engineers.
