Sodexo?s growing HealthcareTechnology Management Division is seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with a proven success as an experiencedBiomedical Equipment Technician IIIto supportHealthcare Technology service for Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center located in Chula Vista, CA.

Candidate must possess a high level of technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to makedecisions regarding repairs and service of customer equipment.Will also needexcellent customer service/time managementskill along with the capability to communicate effectively bothin written and verbal manner with customers regarding services performed andwith internal and external customers, vendors, and colleagues.

What You\'ll Do:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment functionality and patient safety.

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance testing.

  • Provide timely and efficient service while prioritizing urgent repair needs.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment issues and deliver excellent customer support.

  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards related to healthcare technology management.

What You Bring:
  • Preferably 7-10 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting.
  • Basic knowledge of networking theory.
  • Considerable knowledge of electronic circuitry and technical aspects of the operation, repair and maintenance of electronic equipment.
  • Substantial knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and illustrated parts drawings of biomedical instrumentation and skill in testing electronic equipment as well as in manual dexterity, hand-to-eye coordination, and color vision.
  • A valid driver?s license and acceptable driving record.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate\'s Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
