Senior Java Developer

Location: Addison, Texas (Onsite)

Role Overview

This is an opportunity to join a global payments technology team. The role involves developing, enhancing, debugging, and testing software applications that support various business functions within payments technology. The successful candidate will actively support application development and maintenance, participate in system requirements discussions, drive application design, and work with QA and support teams to deploy software and resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications.
• Participate in team discussions to understand and provide input on system requirements.
• Drive application design activities and develop software to meet specifications.
• Collaborate with QA and performance testing teams to ensure software meets all requirements.
• Work with support teams to deploy software and resolve any defects.
• Perform proof-of-concept for new technologies.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring, and Oracle.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of SOA concepts, Web services, and REST API.
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts with working experience in Core Java/J2EE.
• Working experience in Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology and the Scrum process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MQ, Microservices, and KAFKA.
