We are seeking a highly dependable and experienced Senior Middleware & Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role within our Middleware/Web Migration and Application Managed Services (AMS) support team.
This position is responsible for leading high-volume incident and change management activities while ensuring 24x7 stability and performance of enterprise applications, including dealer-facing and public-facing platforms. The role also drives proactive security and compliance initiatives, automates deployment processes, and supports strategic business transformation programs involving cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Adobe Cloud) and modern data architectures.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership, advanced problem-solving capabilities, consistent high-quality delivery, and excellent collaboration with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and vendors. A proven record of customer satisfaction and team enablement is essential.
Key Responsibilities
· Serve as the primary middleware support lead across concurrent projects, owning deployments, releases, and change management processes to ensure seamless QA-to-Production transitions.
· Manage and resolve high volumes of AMS incidents and change requests with timeliness and precision; coordinate cross-team dependencies to maintain project schedules.
· Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues impacting dealer-facing systems (e.g., EMDCS) and public-facing websites (e.g., MUSA, OneMazda, MyMazda) to ensure high availability and prevent outages.
· Lead security vulnerability management, including OS and product patching, middleware upgrades, compliance adherence (JSOX, data privacy), alert reviews, and trend analysis.
· Administer, optimize, and maintain middleware environments including:
o IBM WebSphere (including Portal)
o WebLogic
o Tomcat
o Web servers: IBM HTTP Server (IHS), Apache, Oracle HTTP Server
o Monitoring tools: ITCAM, AppDynamics, JavaMelody, ElasticSearch
· Design and implement automation solutions for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure tasks, and deployment workflows using Jenkins, TFS/Azure DevOps, and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, wsadmin/Jython, Shell).
· Collaborate closely with development, QA, business teams, and third-party vendors to deliver efficient, scalable solutions and maintain high stakeholder satisfaction.
· Lead and support enterprise transformation initiatives, including:
o Data governance tools (DvSum, Octopai)
o Microsoft Azure proof-of-concepts (AKS, DevSecOps)
o Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud migrations
o eVehicle data platform infrastructure initiatives
· Provide knowledge transfer (KT), mentoring, documentation (architecture diagrams, proposals, operational updates), and uphold corporate and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
· 10–15+ years of experience in middleware administration, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, and release management within large-scale enterprise environments.
· Strong hands-on expertise in:

· Demonstrated ability to manage high incident volumes, own critical P1/P2 issues, and resolve high-visibility production problems.
· Strong communication skills with proven stakeholder engagement and team mentoring experience.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM WebSphere Administrator, Java Programmer) are preferred.
Preferred Experience
· Experience with cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including:
o Microsoft Azure (AKS, DevSecOps)
o Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud
· Exposure to data platforms, governance tools, and automotive enterprise/dealer network environments.
· Demonstrated track record of proactive security improvements, customer appreciation, and successful delivery of transformation programs.
