Introduction:

The Java Application Architect in the Extensive Financial Domain will play a key role in establishing consistency across platforms, improving and standardizing implementation practices, strengthening database and application flow design, and identifying integration gaps and automation opportunities within the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• The Application Architect will cover core corporate functions and back office support, requiring a wide range of application support and capabilities.
• Design end-to-end application architecture with a strong knowledge of logical, physical, and reference architecture design.
• Create process flows, data flow diagrams, and solution blueprints using tools such as Draw.io, Visio, or similar.
• Align architecture to business capabilities across multiple LOBs.
• Utilize SQL, SSIS, and SQL Server expertise.
• Experience in data modeling, conceptual, logical, and physical.
• Preferred knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Preferred knowledge of Java Architecture, API, and integration patterns.
• Preferred knowledge of SSO, SAML, identity and access management.
• Understanding of AI/ML solution patterns.
• Experience in financial domains, governance risks, compliance, finance, accounting, HR, and treasury.
• Guide teams through architectural decisions and trade-offs.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in the Financial Domain
• Ability to design end-to-end application architecture
• Strong knowledge of logical, physical, and reference architecture design
• Proficiency in creating process flows, data flow diagrams, and solution blueprints
• Alignment of architecture to business capabilities across multiple LOBs
• Experience with SQL, SSIS, and SQL Server
