We are seeking a Product Owner to support the Data Tools & AI product domain within the Finance Transformation Office. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping how data tools and AI capabilities accelerate Finance modernization. The Product Owner will lead requirements intake across Finance stakeholders, application tenants and perform deep assessments of capability needs, and steward delivery of high?quality solutions supporting data ingestion, analytics, controls, change and distribution. The ideal candidate thrives in complex data environments, collaborates effectively across business and technology teams, and brings a structured, value?driven approach to product ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Management & Analysis
Lead end?to?end requirements gathering with Finance LOBs, Cross?Product teams, Operations, and Technology partners.
Conduct detailed requirements analysis and preliminary solution design to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with the application framework.
Rationalize, validate, and streamline business requirements to eliminate redundancy and simplify complexity.
Translate business needs into clear epics, features, and user stories with complete acceptance criteria.
Backlog Ownership & Delivery Execution
Own, manage, and continuously refine the product backlog with clear prioritization and transparency.
Partner with Agile delivery teams (Scrum and Kanban) to ensure scope clarity and timely execution.
Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives to drive delivery consistency.
Change Management & Release Management
Oversee change management activities including impact assessments, communication, stakeholder alignment, and readiness.
Collaborate with Technology teams on release planning, deployment validation, and post?release monitoring.
Ensure full traceability of requirements through development, testing, and deployment.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams to communicate scope, risks, and design decisions.
Provide indirect leadership across cross?functional groups to drive initiatives and resolve issues.
Partner with mid?level and senior leaders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and remove blockers.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Agile product ownership or product management (Scrum and Kanban).
Proven experience gathering and analyzing requirements for data tools, data platforms, portals, or financial systems.
Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder?influencing skills.
Technical and Functional expertise with data ingestion, distribution, adjustments, and data quality frameworks/tools.
Strong SQL skills.
Desired Qualifications
Experience creating wireframes and defining OKR's & KPIs.
Ability to simplify complex data concepts for diverse audiences.
Excellent critical?thinking and problem?solving skills with a customer?focused mindset.
Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and testing.
