Job Summary

Looking for a hands-on Power Electronics Engineer with strong experience in traction inverters / electric drivetrain systems. This role focuses on testing, validation, troubleshooting, and product health of high-voltage inverter systems in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform lab testing, validation, and root cause analysis of inverter failures
Work on high-voltage, high-power inverter systems (e-drivetrain)
Execute test plans: setup, instrumentation, data collection & reporting
Analyze data using MATLAB / Python / Excel
Support cost reduction, component validation, and supplier evaluation
Review engineering drawings and technical specs
Work with cross-functional teams (design, validation, manufacturing, suppliers)
Apply quality processes: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, CPI

Required Skills

6+ years in Power Electronics / Inverter Systems
Strong experience with traction inverters / motor drives / power converters
Hands-on experience in:
- Lab testing & validation
- Failure analysis / troubleshooting
- High-voltage systems
Experience with test equipment:
- Oscilloscopes, HV probes, current transducers, dataloggers
Tools: MATLAB, Python, Excel

Preferred

Automotive / EV / Off-highway electrification background
Experience with inverter production support / lifecycle management
Familiar with IPC / IEC standards

Education

BS in Electrical Engineering
