Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Information Security team, focused on delivering automation solutions that drive cybersecurity outcomes. This role will design, build, and maintain custom security tooling and automated workflows, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI/ML technologies to protect our brand, respond to fraud, and prevent data loss. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex security challenges through innovative automation and enjoys collaborating across teams to enhance enterprise security posture.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom cybersecurity tools and automation workflows for brand protection, fraud response, and data loss prevention.
Build scalable automation solutions using AI/ML technologies to streamline security operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security automation into existing business processes.
Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of developed tools and scripts.
Author and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle: architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and support.
Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on security automation using Python and AI.
Candidates should have an understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks and best practices.
Experience developing enterprise-wide security tools and automation solutions.
Experience with AWS cloud platforms and security best practices (Azure will work as well but AWS is the preference).
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies.
Experience with Power Automate is strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with intellectual curiosity.
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Must be onsite 4 days a week in Boston or Needham.
Estimated Min Rate: $51.24
Estimated Max Rate: $73.20
