The Histology Technician reports to the Section Technical Lead and Department Manager and prepares tissues for microscopic examination by a Pathologist according to established protocols. In doing so, the HT processes specimens by freezing and cutting tissue sections, selecting optimal tissue sections and floating them onto glass slides and staining or treating the tissue with reagents so as to reveal specific structural details under microscopic analysis.

\n Requirements: College degree; ASCP cert; prior experience
\n Pay: $29-$34/hr
