PeopleSoft Programmer
Introduction:
The State of Wisconsin is seeking a PeopleSoft Programmer to join their team. This position will involve working on campus solutions development projects, specifically focusing on Student Financials and Admissions.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize PeopleCode to develop and maintain application packages, records, pages, and components
- Work with Application Engines to automate processes and workflows
- Utilize COBOL programming language for system enhancements and maintenance
- Provide production support for campus solutions applications
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience using PeopleCode for application development
- 3-5 years of experience using Application Engines
- 3-5 years of experience using COBOL programming language
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience with Campus Solutions, specifically Student Financials and Admissions
- Experience with PeopleSoft Application Security
- Knowledge of Web Services
Interview Process: 30-minute interview via Microsoft Teams
Duration: 6 months from start date
Location: Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI at their own expense. Remote work within the State of WI is possible.
Project Details: UW is looking for a campus solutions developer to provide support on an as-needed basis for up to 6 months. The contractor will work up to 20 hours per week, focusing on production support tasks.
Additional Details: Candidate must reside in the State of WI during the project work period.
