Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the NYC311 Customer Service Management System (CSMS), a critical platform handling public service requests, incident response, and citizen engagement across NYC.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end project lifecycle (planning to release and support)
Handle multiple workstreams (Call Center, Online Portal, SMS/Text, Mobile App)
Drive release management and coordinate deployments
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Work closely with Product Managers and leadership teams
Lead stakeholder meetings and provide status updates
Ensure smooth production releases and outage coordination
Act as escalation point for issues and blockers
Support Agile delivery across cross-functional teams
Required Skills:
8+ years of IT Project Management experience
Mandatory State / Government project experience
Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum / Waterfall
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
Strong experience in Release Management and Risk Management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in IT / Project Management / Public Administration or related field
