Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company's facilities. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our production operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will use your in-depth knowledge of equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, mechanical knowledge, and electrical systems to ensure our equipment and facilities are safe and functional. If you have a knack for problem-solving, a passion for maintenance work, and a strong leadership style, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all equipment is in working order to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and reduce costs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including repair functions and replacing parts as necessary.
  • Coordinate with other departments to understand their maintenance needs and schedule work accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance team members, fostering a productive and collaborative environment.
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Develop budgets for approval, including those for labor, equipment, materials and supplies, and monitor expenditures.
  • Keep a record of all the day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken in a facility.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with PLCs, Hydraulics, Pneumatics
  • In-depth knowledge of equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, mechanical knowledge, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and complex heating and cooling systems.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
  • Understanding of budgeting and performance management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.
  • Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus.
