Banner Life, part of the Legal & General America family, is seeking an experienced Actuary with strong expertise in life insurance modeling, valuation, and risk analysis. The role involves developing and validating actuarial models for pricing, forecasting, and profitability analysis across Term Life, Universal Life, and Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) products. Candidates should have hands-on experience with GGY Axis or MG-ALFA and strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and VBA. The Actuary will assess portfolio risks, analyze experience studies, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize business performance. Responsibilities also include model governance, QA validation, and ensuring compliance with actuarial and regulatory standards. The role requires close collaboration with Finance, Investments, IT, Product, and Underwriting teams to translate actuarial insights into business decisions. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills are essential. ASA certification is required, while FSA is preferred. Ideal candidates will have 5–10+ years of actuarial experience in the life insurance domain.
