Python/Java Developer with AI/MI & GenAI

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 12-24 Months

Position Summary:
Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java applications at the company.
Collaborate with teams across departments to identify and prioritize requirements.
Develop best practices and participate in code reviews with team members and stakeholders.
Conduct technical analysis, troubleshoot production issues, and create technical artifacts.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of demonstrable experience in Python development. Additional Java experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Python and web API development frameworks such as Spring, REST APIs, and RESTEasy.
Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) nice to have.
Working knowledge of database technologies such as Redis and Oracle. Vector database experience is a plus.
Experience working on Linux and Windows environments.
Experience with Microsoft Copilot, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Azure is a big plus.
Demonstrated expertise in programming, network administration, and software installation/configuration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good organizational capabilities.
Experience with IT project methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
Familiarity with AI technologies (RAG and LLMs).
Experience developing solutions using Generative AI frameworks such as GPT, LlamaIndex, LangChain, etc.
OpenShift container experience is a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Relevant certifications such as Java Certified Professional (OCP).
Experience with Nvidia Triton servers for LLMs.
Knowledge of container and cloud technologies (Red Hat OpenShift, Azure).
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker).
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong teamwork capabilities.
