Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP BODS Lead with strong hands-on development experience in SAP Syniti to lead enterprise data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), SAP Syniti tools, ETL development, data quality, and data migration projects involving SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. The candidate will be responsible for leading technical teams, designing and developing data migration solutions, managing ETL workflows, and ensuring accurate, reliable, and high-quality data migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of ETL solutions using SAP BODS.
• Develop and configure SAP Syniti-based data migration solutions, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.
• Provide hands-on development expertise in both SAP BODS and SAP Syniti.
• Design and implement data migration strategies for SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Develop complex ETL jobs, workflows, data flows, mappings, and transformations.
• Work on data profiling, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and data quality activities.
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP source systems with target SAP environments.
• Lead technical discussions, requirement gathering, solution design, and technical reviews.
• Manage technical deliverables, development standards, code reviews, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot ETL performance issues, data discrepancies, and migration failures.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Mentor and guide developers and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS).
• Hands-on development experience with SAP Syniti.
• Strong knowledge of ETL architecture, data integration, and data transformation.
• Experience developing jobs, workflows, data flows, mappings, and transformations in SAP BODS.
• Experience with SAP Syniti data migration and data quality capabilities.
• Knowledge of data profiling, data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data structures.
• Understanding of data migration lifecycle and cutover activities.
• Experience with performance tuning, error handling, and ETL troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Syniti ADM and Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP).
• Experience with master data and transactional data migration.
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, and PP.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise data migration programs.
• Previous experience leading offshore/onshore development teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
