Job Description:
Job Title: Software Eng- Java/Fullstack II
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)
Pay: $45-$50
Length: 6 months
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
Lead and participate in full lifecycle application development.
Design, code, and debug applications using various programming languages.
Develop backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Analysis & Design
Conduct software, code, and requirements analysis.
Perform software reviews and identify code metrics.
Execute system risk and software reliability analyses.
Apply Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) principles.
Create software models and simulations as needed.
User Interface & Integration
Contribute to front-end graphical user interface design.
Integrate new software solutions with existing systems and platforms.
Quality Assurance
Perform software testing and quality assurance activities.
Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and usability improvements.
Support automation initiatives to enhance development efficiency.
Maintenance & Support
Maintain, support, and document software functionality.
Ensure compliance with internal and industry standards.
Implement localization and globalization features where required.
Innovation & Technology Evaluation
Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies for adoption.
Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven development experience in:
Java (Backend)
Spring Boot
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with OpenShift or other container orchestration platforms.
Exposure to legacy system development and modernization.
Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehousing technologies.
