Must have - 8+ years of enterprise network engineering, including at least 3 years writing HLDs and LLDs for campus and branch sites.
- Hands-on Arista EOS on the LCM 2.0 platforms (7280R3, 7050X3, 720XP/720DT, 750-series chassis): MLAG, LACP, VLANs, OSPF/BGP, VARP/VRRP, PoE budgets.
- Cisco IOS-XE WAN edge (ISR 4000 to Catalyst 8500L), and enough legacy Catalyst to read the configurations being replaced.
- Palo Alto NGFW (PA-3400 series, PAN-OS, Panorama): HA pairs, zones, and interface and routing changes mid-cutover.
- Cutover leadership: port-for-port migrations, MOPs, pre- and post-checks, rollback calls, and running weekend bridges with customer, partner and field teams.
- Physical layer and out-of-band: optics and DACs, fiber and copper, rack elevations, PDU and power budgets, Opengear console servers with cellular failover. Enough to direct remote hands precisely.
- Tools: Nautobot or NetBox, ServiceNow change management, Visio or Lucidchart, Excel cut sheets.
- Writes designs a reviewer can approve in one pass.
- Based in a US time zone, available for weekend windows, and able to pass NVIDIA’s contingent-worker background check.
Nice to have - Python, Ansible or Jinja to generate configurations from cut sheets.
- Juniper Mist wireless, and Versa SD-WAN (Project Ether appliances share several LCM sites).
- Check Point to Palo Alto migrations, Arista CloudVision, Panorama templates.
- Arista ACE (L3 or higher), Cisco CCNP Enterprise or Palo Alto PCNSE.
- Spanish or Portuguese, for São Paulo and Latin America partners.
