Summary

job summary:

The Agile Coach is responsible for enabling teams, leaders, and Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to adopt, implement, and continuously improve Lean-Agile principles, practices, and behaviors. This role serves as a change agent who promotes an Agile mindset across the organization, coaches teams and leaders toward high performance, and drives measurable improvements in delivery predictability, quality, flow, and business outcomes.


The Agile Coach partners with Product Management, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Technology Leadership, and delivery teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer value delivery.

responsibilities:

  • Coach teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders on Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Guide organizations through Agile transformation initiatives and maturity improvements.
  • Promote Lean-Agile values, servant leadership, and continuous learning.
  • Support adoption of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and flow-based delivery practices.
  • Develop Agile capabilities across teams and leadership levels
  • Assess team and program maturity and create improvement plans.
  • Coach teams on backlog management, prioritization, estimation, planning, and execution.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and alignment across Agile Release Trains.
  • Support PI Planning preparation, execution, and follow-through.
  • Mentor Scrum Masters to improve effectiveness and develop coaching capabilities.
  • Identify systemic impediments impacting multiple teams or value streams.
  • Coach leaders on organizational design, value stream optimization, and operating models.
  • Drive consistency in Agile practices while allowing flexibility where appropriate.
  • Support governance, risk, compliance, and change management activities without compromising agility
  • Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICP-ENT)
  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
  • Expert JIRA experience on large scale complex programs.
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery environments.
  • 3+ years of experience coaching multiple Agile teams or Agile Release Trains.
  • Strong experience with Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Demonstrated success leading Agile transformation initiatives.
  • Experience coaching leadership teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and organizational change management skills.
  • Expertise with Agile tooling as Jira, Jira Align, Azure DevOps,
