Data Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Architect in Los Angeles, CA. As a Data Architect, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping how data is structured, governed, and leveraged across the enterprise.

Key Tasks:
* Define and evolve enterprise data architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices
* Design scalable, high-performance data models that support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives
* Lead efforts around Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and implementation
* Architect and optimize end-to-end data pipelines (ETL/ELT) across modern cloud environments
* Establish and enforce data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management practices
* Partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data engineering, and analytics teams to align data strategy with business needs
* Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve data platform capabilities and scalability

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong experience as a Data Architect with hands-on expertise with modern data platforms such as: Snowflake and Databricks
* Experience working in cloud-based data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
* Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
* Strong communication skills with experience influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Deep experience in:
* Data Modeling (conceptual, logical, physical)
* ETL/ELT design and optimization
* Data Governance & Data Quality frameworks
* Master Data Management (MDM)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
