Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboard Development
Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and BO reports (WebI, Crystal Reports).
Translate business requirements into effective visualizations and reports.
Create interactive dashboards with filters, parameters, and drilldown capabilities.
Ensure reports follow usability, performance, and visualization best practices.
Data Analysis & Validation
Work with data from multiple sources including data warehouses, relational databases, and flat files.
Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and validate reporting data.
Validate data accuracy and consistency across reports.
Perform report reconciliation and regression testing when data or logic changes.
Collaboration & Support
Collaborate with business users, analysts, and data teams to gather and clarify reporting requirements.
Support UAT, production deployments, and postrelease validation.
Troubleshoot and resolve report performance or data issues.
Provide enduser support and training as needed.
Governance & Documentation
Ensure reports comply with data governance, security, and access control standards.
Document report logic, data sources, and business rules.
Maintain report inventories and metadata.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong handson experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
Experience with SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Universes).
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
Strong understanding of data visualization best practices.
Experience working with large datasets and complex data models.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
