Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a team building data solutions for the transportation industry. In this role, you'll design and maintain cloud-based data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and operational insights across the organization.

You'll work with modern data platforms in a collaborative environment, solving real-world problems and helping deliver scalable, reliable data systems. This is a hybrid position based in downtown Phoenix.
What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain cloud-native data pipelines using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric
Implement batch and real-time data ingestion using a medallion architecture
Write and optimize complex SQL for data transformation and integration
Support and enhance legacy SSIS and SQL Server-based data platforms
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines
Build scalable, maintainable, and testable data solutions
What You Bring

Required

5+ years of experience building data engineering solutions
Strong SQL and Python skills
Hands-on experience developing and automating ETL pipelines
Solid understanding of data lake architectures

Preferred

Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-based ETL tools
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
Knowledge of event-driven and batch processing architectures
Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
Experience with data science or machine learning, including feature engineering or model deployment
