Kforce has a client that is seeking a Staff Engineer - Full Stack/Azure in Armonk, NY.

Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Engineer to provide technical leadership across full-stack application development, cloud engineering, DevOps, and software quality. This role will drive the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using modern Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud services while partnering closely with engineering, architecture, UX/UI, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and development of responsive, scalable front-end applications using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
* Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations using C#, .NET, and Entity Framework Core
* Design and optimize SQL Server databases, including data modeling, migration, performance tuning, and integration
* Establish and promote software engineering standards, architectural best practices, security principles, and clean code practices through peer code reviews and technical mentorship
* Design and implement automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies
* Lead development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, automating build, test, release, and deployment processes
* Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to create secure and repeatable cloud environments
* Establish automated quality gates including testing, code quality analysis, security scanning, and deployment approvals
* Design, configure, and support solutions within Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor
* Implement observability, logging, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting capabilities to improve application reliability and performance

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong full-stack development expertise
* Advanced experience with C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, and SQL Server
* Strong experience designing and developing cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure
* Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
* Strong understanding of software architecture, API development, automated testing, security, observability, and performance optimization
* Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive engineering best practices across teams

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Terraform, Bicep, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Azure Key Vault, and Azure App Services
* Experience with modern software security and DevSecOps practices
* Experience leading enterprise-scale application modernization or cloud transformation initiatives
* Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
