Introduction

The SAP Data Migration Lead/Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end data migration activities within Supply Chain and Finance domains for large-scale ERP transformation programs. This role requires a combination of deep expertise in SAP data migration and strong project management skills to ensure successful execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP data migration strategy, planning, and execution across Supply Chain and Finance applications.
• Conduct legacy data assessment, profiling, relevancy analysis, and cleansing.
• Facilitate Data Mapping Workshops, develop Functional Design Specifications (FDS), and Field Mapping Documents (FMD).
• Manage migration build, testing, reconciliation, and defect resolution in collaboration with ETL developers.
• Coordinate cutover, mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and hypercare support post-deployment.
• Ensure compliance with SAP Activate methodology, Agile frameworks, and PMO standards.
• Manage project budgets, resource planning, and vendor coordination.
• Prepare and deliver periodic status reports, billing artifacts, and project documentation.
• Act as a key partner to business and IT leadership, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and delivery expectations.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP Data Migration experience with large global ERP/SAP S/4HANA programs.
• Strong background in project management, SAP Supply Chain, and Finance applications.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BODS, Syniti, SAP Migration Cockpit, or comparable ETL tools.
• Proven expertise in legacy data assessment, profiling, mapping, cleansing, and validation.
• Experience managing budgets, resource assignments, and vendor contracts.
• Excellent analytical, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multiple global SAP deployment waves, cutovers, and hypercare.
• Project Management certification (PMP, Agile, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of French and English is a plus.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
