Summary

Position: Lead Cybersecurity Assessor
Location: Remote
Duration: Long term

Job Summary: Lead Cybersecurity Assessor responsible for serving as the technical lead for security assessments and deliverables related to information systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as the technical lead for cybersecurity assessment activities and deliverable production.
Lead NIST SP 800-53 security control assessments — planning, execution, and reporting.
Perform vulnerability reviews and manage assessment results.
Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) readiness activities.
Oversee penetration testing and technical validation processes.

Qualifications:

12+ years of direct experience in government cybersecurity assessment work.
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification.
CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification.
Experience with NIST SP 800-53 and federal cybersecurity frameworks.
